SUMMARY

"The Immortal Lincoln: A story of loss, struggle and driving until the wheels come off" is a documentary short (23 mins) that focuses on what happened to one man who lost his fourth-generation family business and the role Ford factory workers played in keeping him focused on moving forward instead of dwelling on the past. This film was inspired by a news story in The Detroit Free Press that was widely distributed on the USA Today Network about Douglas Burns of Carroll, Iowa. It's a powerful narrative that touches on depression and finding the strength to go on.
